Subtitle Off The Menu

If you use a braille display with VoiceOver, when Live Captions is turned on, you can access the Live Captions window from the System Dialogs menu in the Application Chooser. See Use Live Captions with a braille display.

subtitle Off The Menu

You can resize the Live Captions window by dragging any edge, and change its position on the screen. To restore the window to its default size and position, click the Live Captions icon in the menu bar, then choose Restore Default Position.

You can use keyboard shortcuts for many Live Captions actions, such as turning them on or off and changing the audio source. To view and customize available shortcuts, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Keyboard in the sidebar, then click Keyboard Shortcuts on the right. (You may need to scroll down.) In the dialog that appears, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Live Captions on the right. See Use macOS keyboard shortcuts.

To specify which options are available in the panel (or which features are turned on or off when you triple-press Touch ID), choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Shortcut on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)

If you have captions or subtitles enabled as a viewer, you can access the Customize menu within CC settings to edit font size, font color, font edge styling, background color, and background opacity. Creators can also access this functionality by leveraging WebVTT standards in caption or subtitle files during upload.

To edit caption and subtitle appearance, first click the [CC] button below the player and then select Customize. The Font, Background, and Window menus each contain customizable settings. Make sure you have captions/subtitles turned on to see the changes as you make them.

Depending on your personal need, subtitles might be enough for you to fully enjoy a show, while others need closed captions to get the most out of the experience. Regardless of your personal preference, setting up closed captioning on a Samsung Smart TV is a pretty straightforward process.

Whenever you stream a video, the previously mentioned CC icon shows up in the playback menu. Use your remote to navigate to the icon and select it. This action instantly enables the subtitles for that video only, and if you want to turn them off, repeat the process.

Amazon Prime Video has an excellent web client, and again, turning the subtitles on is the same for PCs and Macs. Not only that, but the required steps also follow the same logic as with any other device you might be using.

Those with older models need to access the TV menu by pressing the corresponding button on the remote. Once inside, choose Setup and hit the OK button. Scroll down the Setup menu until you reach CC and press OK again. Choose On or Off inside the CC menu and confirm by pressing OK. 041b061a72
